Jessica is a jazz/swing/soul singer but I can tailor my show to include hits from the 40s-80s as well as popular sing-along songs and wartime songs.

 Jess is a professional singer, choir leader and trainee music therapist at Guildhall School Of Music . She has been working in care homes for 5 years, spending over a year working as an activity lead so I really understand what it takes to connect with residents and build a great activity. As a singer she's been lucky to perform in many prestigious venues such as the 02,Colston Hall and her favourite was in Jool's Holland's Club on the Spirit Of Discovery .

 

 Jessica has also been part of "New Memories Dementia Choir" – A Choir project with a live pianist to get your residents singing with a performance at the end of a 10-week rehearsal period. SHe also has extensive experience singing bedside for bed bound residents.

 

Her repertoire includes songs from the American Songbook, Swing Numbers as well as some Motown, Soul and 50s,60s,70s hits. She can also offer ‘Disco and Rock And Roll’ to give a fuller sound, perfect for outdoor BBQ's and larger events (like all our artistes, Jess has a full sound system PA she brings with her).

Her sessions are fully interactive, designed to enhance the resident’s wellbeing, social interaction.
 

A great quality of Jessica's shows is that further visits to the same care home mean the sessions get better and better as she and the residents build the repertoire, together, making it as person-centred as possible!
